The Couple

From our first meeting at Wollaton Hall I knew we’d have great chemistry on the day. Matt’s in a band and loves the same music as me so we chatted away about that then Bobbie brought it back down to earth (wedding related topics haha) telling me all about their Great Gatbsy styled wedding.

These guys paid some much attention to detail, they both looked absolutely incredible on the day. The styling throughout the whole day was amazing, the ceremony and breakfast rooms were dressed impeccably.

Our stand out moments from the film include – Matt’s speech – he absolutely smashed it, you can see how passionate he is about Bobbie and he also had us laughing plenty. We love that Matt faced towards Bobbie down the aisle and the look on his face is priceless. These guys were so natural as a couple, we barely had to ask them for poses as they just rocked them naturally. Basically anything that you shoot at Wollaton Hall looks amazing but we have to say we particularly love the shots in The Prospect Room.

“We chose Geoff after seeing his previous work, his videos really tell the story of someone’s wedding day and we loved how he focused on the speeches. We found working with Geoff totally easy, he’s friendly, professional and a joy to be around. He was always available for any meetings we needed and we knew he would only be a call or an email away if we had any last minute questions.
Having him around during the getting ready process of the wedding day was a lovely experience, keeping things light and fun helped to take some of the nerves away! He slotted in perfectly with the rest of our suppliers, capturing moments we didn’t always notice without detracting from anything else that was going on.
After we found out we all had similar music taste, and after seeing Geoff’s previous music choices with other wedding videos we were both super excited to see what he would pick for our highlights reel. We had no say or preference in what music he used and it did not disappoint!! It was totally perfect for us proving that Geoff paid attention to all the little details throughout our wedding day in order to deliver an outstanding finished product. We trusted him and he delivered on that trust in a huge way.
Geoff was by far and away our first choice videographer and although we didn’t give him much notice, he delivered a highlights reel feature edit and a longer cut of the wedding that we will treasure forever and always. Some of our favourite shots from the day are the bits we didn’t think were being filmed, that capture the nerves and the emotions that can’t be seen in just photographs. The day goes by so quickly it’s hard to remember much and all becomes a blur, so having a video to watch to relive the ceremony, speeches, and the first dance really is dreamy.
